Every amplifier on your bench. One program
DaqFox reads HBM/HBK, GTM and Norbar amplifiers at the same time, shows every channel live, and writes the values into your own Excel sheet, at a key press or continuously at a fixed interval.
One key press, one row in Excel
The DaqFox window reads every source at the same moment. Enter writes one row into your open workbook, Space measures again and overwrites it.
The cell you click in Excel is where the row starts. Averaging is written as a formula, so the raw readings stay in the workbook.
Or let it run: with Continuous reading DaqFox writes a row at a fixed interval until a set number of packets, a set time, or until you stop it.

Watch every channel while it measures
Each amplifier gets its own column with its readings, a trend and running statistics. All sources acquire at the same time, each on its own thread, so a slow RS232 device never holds up a fast rack.
- Rate
- About 66 readings a second, measured on an MGCplus CP22 over Ethernet
- Sources
- MGCplus, Scout 55, LT-Digitizer and TTT side by side, one column each
- Channels
- Several per amplifier, each with its own signal and unit
- LIVE view
- One channel at window size, rolling minimum, maximum and mean over 1 to 600 s; spikes stay visible
The error no uncertainty budget lists
In many test labs a reading is taken off the display and typed into a spreadsheet by hand. Wrong row, swapped digits, a decimal point in the wrong place.
Nobody can put a credible number on that error, so it never appears in the budget, and it is hard to defend in an audit. DaqFox does not estimate it. It removes the step: the value goes from the amplifier straight into the cell.
What you can connect today
Several devices run side by side, each in its own column, all at the same time. An MGCplus over Ethernet and a Scout 55 on RS232 in one window is an ordinary setup.
| Device | Interface | Channels | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| HBM / HBKMGCplus CP22 / CP42 | Ethernet RS232 | up to 16 | One channel per slot, several read in rotation. DaqFox detects empty slots when it connects. |
| HBM / HBKScout 55 | RS232 | 1 | Gross, net and the device's peak-value memories, under the names its manual uses. |
| GTMLT-Digitizer | USB | 2 / 4 / 6 | Integration and software tare in DaqFox, plus the device's own calibration at a button press. Otherwise DaqFox writes no setting to the device. |
| NorbarTTT Series 3 | RS232 | 1 | Listens only and sends nothing. Every reading the instrument outputs is taken, with its unit and, where set on the instrument, the limit verdict. |
| DemoSimulators | – | – | A simulated rack, a simulated TTT and a simulated LT-Digitizer, to try things out and to demonstrate. |
